The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering and Week of Prayer for International Missions Emphasis:

IMAGINE. . .Joining the Author of all history in One Sacred Effort

AWHY GIVE TO THE LOTTIE MOON CHRISTMAS OFFERING? There are still 4 billion people in 6500 people groups who remain lost. When you give to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, 100% of your gifts are used to send and support your missionaries (currently 4,900) in this One Sacred Effort

AHOW DOES YOUR GIVING MAKE AN IMPACT? In one year your missionaries shared His re-demptive story with 1.7 million people, trained 23 thousand nationals to start new churches, and helped start 6,200 churchesAnd the while they worked to rescue slaves, feed orphans and care for the needy.

AALL NEED TO HEAR "How many there are...who imagine that because Jesus paid it all, they need pay nothing, forgetting that the prime object of their salvation was that they should follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ in bringing back a lost world to God.Lottie Moon

Attention all Newington Women!

Come Join the Women's Missionary Union!

Exciting things are awaiting us and our church as
we seek to minister in Jesus' name.

Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to
give you hope and a future."
WMU seeks to reach out to others in
ways we can strengthen our faith through ministry.

Strategic Principles of the WMU are:

Pray for and donate to missions

Engage in missions

Learn about missions

Develop spiritually toward a mission lifestyle

Engage in the mission work of the church and denomination

So, if you have a heart for missions, join the WMU!
There are two groups:

1) The first group meets the 2nd Monday of each month
at 10 AM at the church.

2) The second group meets the 3rd Monday at 6:30 PM
      at the church.

Jerry Young, WMU Director, will be glad to answer any questions.

God's Word Every Day

We distribute Bibles and New Testaments because we
believe God's Word is relevant and powerful and that people
can grow spiritually by reading it and applying God's truth in their lives.

For the same reason, we are sharing our daily Bible reading calendar.
Gideons use this calendar to read through the Bible in a year.
We invite you to read along with us by visiting this site every day,
or by downloading the calendar as a pdf file
